Scott Schaffer is committed to helping learning leaders demonstrate the impact of learning investments on business results. He has 18 years of experience in the HR and learning and talent development space as an account manager, consultant and thought leader. He has designed measurement systems for corporate universities and various learning platforms. At Ericsson, Schaffer leads learning measurement & analytics globally. Currently, his focus is on designing measurement and analytics approaches that provide learning leaders with visibility into the readiness of people for new assignments or to improve performance. Schaffer has made numerous professional presentations and has published several articles that examine the role of assessment, measurement and evaluation in organizations, the use of measurement across the learning lifecycle, and the integration of agile methods into evaluation design. He has a doctorate from Florida State University in instructional systems with emphases in performance improvement, evaluation and change management.
