Christina Yu leads identity and growth at Mursion and has held leadership positions at several companies in the emerging learning technology space. She is an expert in adaptive learning and virtual reality simulation and the applications of these technologies to workforce productivity, across verticals. Prior to her role at Mursion, she was on the founding team of a new PaaS division at McGraw-Hill Education. She speaks frequently at training conferences such as ATD, Masie, Training, and ISPI, on the subjects of learning science, human skills, and the psychology of performance. Prior to her work in technology, she was a professor of English and served on the editorial staff of major literary magazines and publishers including Hachette Book Group. She holds a degree in English and Creative Writing from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Melissa Lanier Preston
Melissa Lanier Preston is the Director of Leadership Development and Talent Management at T-Mobile. With expertise in leadership development, talent management, change leadership, organizational culture and employee experience design, her corporate career has included positions with Deloitte, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, and Insight Enterprises.
Her current role is focused on translating business strategy into people strategy through enterprise high-potential talent identification, highly innovative development experiences for high potential leaders at all levels, learning events tied to advancing a culture of Inclusion, and creating career development programs for all 50,000 plus members of the TMUS team. Through a grounding in Design Thinking, her team is rethinking the employee experience to create simple, flexible talent identification approaches, new ways to support agile performance management, alternatives to traditional competency models, and digital learning experiences for leaders at every level.
